Judging

When judging, Marilyn is willing to be verbally opinionated while having a huge heart. She is very compassionate. Marilyn is an artist who encourages each quilter, acknowledging where they are skill-wise and encouraging them to grow. Marilyn is willing to write her true opinion about each and every quilt entry. She wholeheartedly believes we are all here for each other’s growth and pruning. She judges for quilt shows of all sizes. She is known for staying late into the evening – continuing to write detailed commentary to each quilter about her entry – knowing she has met a small part of an individual quilter through her quilt.

Lecturing

Marilyn is also an award winning lecturer. Her lectures are “over the top,” verbally and visually. You will laugh out loud, be brought to tears, and definitely find your life inspired and your heart renewed – perhaps transformed. Each lecture is filled with quotes which you will want to write down. Marilyn is very personable, she shares personal information about her life experiences, challenges, and insights as a mother, creative woman, and wife. Marilyn offers 8 diverse lectures and each has a specific thrust or theme; each lecture is so unique, you will want to experience each one of them.
