Triad Interlock
This elaborate interlocking pattern is achieved by a very clever technique using at least three different strata units. The more irregular and contrasting each of the strata units is, the more complex and intriguing the effect.
The top and bottom edges of a strata unit each contribute a different looking triangle so that when three strata units are created, six different triangles emerge. No template and no special ruler required. To complete your quilt, there are no inset seams to deal with; just rows of triangles to sew together.
